The Seat Control Unit ensures a comfortable and safe surface temperature, corresponding to the heating level selected by the passenger, by precisely regulating the energy transferred to the seat heating element. The system is designed to provide a stable and homogeneous heat distribution by taking into account the thermal characteristics of the seat surface.
Since the material structure and thermal conductivity of seat covers may vary, the control unit continuously evaluates the feedback data received from the temperature sensor integrated into the seat heater. In this way, the surface temperature is kept under control, and the risk of overheating is prevented.
Developed with a focus on passenger comfort, the hardware evaluates information from seat occupancy sensors, optimizes system operation by considering ambient conditions, and offers the user the ability to select between different heating levels via manual button control. It is designed to operate stably across a wide supply voltage range.
The quality, safety, and technical requirements of the device are defined by the relevant regulations and standards applicable in the automotive industry. Our Seat Control Unit is designed to meet the criteria specified in ISO 16750 standards, aiming to provide long service life, high performance, and maximum safety.
The product is designed to control 4 heating pads simultaneously. Furthermore, a cooling function can be added based on customer requests, and customer-specific seat functions (heating, cooling, seat belt detection, etc.) can be developed.
